Overview of Position
As the Admissions Consulting Program Lead, you will be responsible for strategizing for, leading, and managing our team of admissions consultants. Our college counselors aspire to help our students gain admission into their top school choice and develop them into future leaders in their areas of interest. You will formulate strategy, control budgets, manage people, develop academic curricula, implement systems and processes, and set culture. You will also collaborate with sales and marketing to expand our brand presence and influence. You will also be involved in business management, sales & marketing to ensure the revenue and student outcomes from Admissions Consulting and Test Prep products and consultant/teacher delivery to the students. As the Product Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial success and profitability of the Admissions Consulting Department, as reflected in the department's Profit & Loss (P&L) statement.

Responsibilities and Duties:
● Product Development:
○ Meet with Senior Management, Research and Development, and Marketing and Sales teams to discuss Admissions Consulting product ideas and feasibility.
○ Conduct market research and evaluate similar products.
○ Redesign existing products to enhance functionality and reduce costs.
○ Oversee product development; test prototype products for functionality, ease of use, and longevity; and resolve product issues. Coordinate, lead, and oversee the R&D of new curricula to support both Senior and Non-Senior student development in Point Avenue.
○ Supervise the timely planning, coordination, and execution of application seasons and campaigns.
● Quality Assurance:
○ Conduct and oversee training for Admissions Consulting programs and support consultant/teacher development.
○ Determine training requirements and priorities for Admissions Consulting programs by meeting with managers, talking with employees, or administering surveys.
○ Develop training programs, including creating training calendars and materials, that address specific needs and produce tangible results.
■ Assist Human Resources, Research and Development, Training, and the centers with onboarding and continuous training for Admissions Consultants specific to their targeted subject(s).
■ Utilize their network to recruit and train Admissions Consultants.
○ Schedule onboarding and continuing training and manage training attendance and task completion.
○ Deliver in-person and online training sessions or train and supervise qualified personnel to do so.
■ Monitor employees’ skills, performance, and productivity after training to ensure that the training meets business needs and improves performance.
● Marketing & Partnership Building:
○ Advise and assist with Admissions Consulting content marketing strategies.
○ Undertake Admissions Consulting content marketing initiatives to support business targets.
○ Collaborate with Marketing to produce high-quality content.
○ Develop a partnership strategy focused on customer needs and financial gain.
○ Identify appropriate prospects, arrange business meetings, and manage sales cycle to close new business.
○ Support new sales development and high student retention.
● Operations Support:
○ Provides sales support by meeting with and helping close customer leads.
○ Work by, with, and through Centers to implement Admissions Consulting programs to a high-level standard.
○ Responsible for the Admissions Consulting department’s Profit & Loss (P&L) statement, continually working towards target accomplishment and exceeding targets. Where loss exists, find solutions to increase sales and revenue for the department and the company.
○ Consults up to eight (08) active student cases.
○ Manage all Admissions Consulting team members, their utilization, calendar management, diagnostic testing, etc., and work with the sales team to ensure the full utilization capacity of team members.
○ Other tasks as assigned by the Academic Director.
