PURPOSE
To effectively lead the compliance function in implementing compliance framework and policies to ensure compliance risks are managed according to applicable regulations, requirements, ethical standards, and the risk appetites as determined by the relevant stakeholders.
KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES
- Lead the corporate compliance team work effectively and efficiently.
- Create and oversee control systems in order to deal with or prevent violations of regulations and internal policies, evaluate the efficiency of controls and continuously improve them in order to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues.
- Oversee, monitor and timely report the implementation of policies and compliance programs to the management and relevant competent authorities.
- Advise on implementation and sponsor required training.
- Develop policies/ standards/ guidance/ procedures and compliance programs to ensure the operations of the company always in compliance with applicable regulations and Group’s policies.
- Ensure required reports submitted on time.
- Liaise with regulators, monitor legislative and regulatory changes for business / strategic risk assessment and impact.
- Support ad hoc projects and other tasks as assigned by the Head of Legal & Compliance.
