Job Summary
The candidate will take the lead on our business development efforts, which include managing existing client accounts and initiating new leads. They will manage the entire account management process from lead origination, preparing marketing materials and proposals, pitching, contract negotiation and review, payment follow-up, contract completion. They will also need to continually strengthen and expand their relationships with key stakeholders, including investors and property/land-owners. The focus would primarily be on real estate, with
heavier weight on the industrial & logistics sector, followed by residential, office, hospitality, retail, and other mixed- use projects. To excel in this role you should have a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business.
Key Responsibilities
• Quickly acquire and actively enhance: (1) knowledge about the real estate market, (2) key investment considerations, and (3) our services, to confidently pitch to potential clients
• Build up and maintain relationships with investors, property/land-owners and other industry players (such as consultants, brokerage firms, institutional funds) to identify potential clients and gain market intelligence
• Contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
• Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives
• Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
• Increase rapport with current clients while looking for ways to attract new business
• Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events
• Prepare quotes, proposals, contract, and post contract follow-up for clients
• Be creative and proactive to meet the assigned revenue budget
