Purpose
Direct Rooms operations by developing and implementing strategies that meet the needs of owners, employees, and guests.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Strategy & Financial Performance
• Develop and execute business strategies aligned with RHG’s mission and goals.
• Oversee annual budgeting, revenue management, and cost control to maximize GOP and RevPAR.
• Analyze business performance and adjust strategies as needed.
2. Rooms Division Operations
• Ensure operations comply with brand standards.
• Develop and implement procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Supervise Department Managers within the Rooms Division.
• Monitor revenues and costs, taking corrective action when necessary.
3. Guest Satisfaction & Quality Assurance
• Monitor guest feedback (GRI scores, reviews, and surveys) and implement improvement strategies.
• Oversee Front Office operations to ensure seamless check-in/out, reservations, and room assignments.
• Maintain service excellence through training and staff development.
4. Employee Engagement & Development
• Recruit, train, and develop employees to achieve high engagement and retention rates.
• Provide regular feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure HR policies and brand standards are implemented effectively.
5. Coordination with Other Departments
• Work closely with Housekeeping and Engineering to maintain high operational standards.
• Ensure public areas and guest rooms meet brand cleanliness and maintenance standards.
• Collaborate with the Financial Controller to oversee budgeting, reporting, and financial audits.
6. Compliance & Safety
• Ensure all operations adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
• Maintain effective key control and security measures.
• Implement cost-effective maintenance and safety procedures.
Success Indicators:
• Financial:
Achieve GOP, RevPAR, and revenue targets.
• Guest Satisfaction:
Maintain high GRI scores and positive feedback.
• Employee Engagement:
Improve survey scores and retention rates.
