JOB SUMMARY
Cai Mep International Terminal is looking for a local Finance Projects Leader
who is responsible to automate and increase efficiency of the finance process by working closely with the Finance Supervisor, IT , Commercial and OPS teams.
Working Time:
08:00-17:00 (Mon-Fri)
Working Location
: Terminal at Tan Thanh Province, BRVT
Reporting
: CFO & DCFO
WHAT YOU DO?
Reporting & Controlling
• Review Trial Balance as part of monthly Book Close and ensure correct reporting.
• Review monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations, identify probable financial exposures, and take appropriate action.
• Deeply understand the daily execution and ensure it is adhering to process and/or process are clear or rectified.
• Following standards and ensure we are process compliant. Equally important is to challenge the standards that will lead to further efficiencies in the processes.
• Strengthen process controls and compliance execution.
Financial Planning & Analysis
• Ensure financial planning and analysis activities are properly conducted, and that recommendations and reports are accurate and provided in a timely manner.
• Deliver required insights, incl. transparency on costs, revenues and profitability for the different HoD and departments.
• Proactively seek opportunities to provide insights, run simulations, gain business knowledge to explain movements in financials, incl. acting as a reliable partner to the business.
• Solve complex challenges based on accurate identification of underlying factors, while being aware of the impact of how proposed solutions can contribute to wider decision-making.
• Receives completed input from related departments; verifies accuracy and completeness of all required information.
Projects Execution
• Drive continuous improvement of processes based on input from frontline/execution.
• Conduct periodic performance management and suggest improvement areas for implementation.
• Actively reviews finance processes and leads the implementation of improvements with an aim to reduce the manual labour and time for Finance and other involved departments.
• Works with HoD and Departments to find the best solution and implement in N4 /N4 billing / IFS and other required systems.
• Perform special projects as directed by Management.
