Boost General Manager Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Strategy
: Centralize all information related to the country’s general operations. Provide strong leadership both in product strategy and as the local leader for remote teams, ensuring high levels of engagement, communication, motivation, and performance. Lead long-term growth initiatives, including market expansion, diversification, and strategic planning.
- SaaS Expertise
: Oversee product management, ensuring the effective integration and optimization of SaaS solutions. Stay current with industry trends and technologies to enhance product offerings and maintain competitive advantage.
- Customer Focus
: Ensure the site and product’s operations align with customer needs and expectations, driving high levels of customer satisfaction, while maintaining relationships with key customers.
- Financial Oversight
: Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Compliance & Risk Management
: Work closely with HR to ensure all operations comply with local laws and regulations. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard the business.
Remote Leadership for Vietnam Team:
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration
: Act as a central point of contact and mediator between departments, fostering a collaborative work environment. Proactively identify and resolve cross-departmental issues that may impact the site and product’s overall performance. Ensure effective communication and cooperation between departments to achieve seamless operations.
- Operational Management
: Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across our remote team. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational processes and achieve business goals. Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor and drive site performance.
- Cultural Adaptation & Alignment
: Adapt and integrate global corporate culture with local practices, ensuring a cohesive work environment, fostering a culture of respect, inclusion, and mutual understanding across diverse teams.
- Innovation & Change Management
: Lead change management initiatives to drive innovation, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
Technology & Digitalization
: Lead efforts in technology integration and digital transformation to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness.
- Stakeholder Management
: Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regional and global leadership, clients, and suppliers. Represent the Vietnam site and product in meetings with external stakeholders and regional leadership.
- Travel Requirements
: Be prepared to travel frequently within Vietnam and internationally as required (US, UK, Australia).
