Head of Finance

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position covers but it is not limited to:
Financial Management:
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Set goals, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Promote collaboration, cross-functional teamwork, and knowledge sharing
• Work with Group, Regional and Country Offices to optimize financial performance and profitability
• Prepare financial statements, presentations, and reports for investor meetings.
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
• Lead the FP&A team in developing financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans
• Analyze financial data and trends to provide strategic recommendations for business decision-making.
• Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with overall company strategy.
• Recommend and suggest to management team on financial management to ensure effectively utilization financial resources to enhance profitability and drive growth.
Accounting:
• Develop accounting policies and procedures for all levels and ensure alignments for consolidated financial reports
• Supervise Accounting team on month-end and year-end closing processes and compliance.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards.
• Coordinate with external auditors and related departments to facilitate the audit process as necessary
Financial Systems and Process Improvement:
• Support on Implementation of ERP and other financial systems to optimize financial operations and
• reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Drive the implementation of new financial tools or systems as necessary.
• Oversee cash flow management, liquidity, and funding to ensure sufficient funding for operations.
• Monitor and manage foreign exchange risks and interest rate exposures.
Risk Management and Compliance:
• Ensure Financial and Accounting policies and procedures are in accordance with statutory regulations & global standards, complying with risks management and internal control policies.
• Establish and implement internal controls that meet international and industry benchmarks.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
• Understand and ensure tax compliance in all levels and develop proper company taxation polic
