POSITION SUMMARY
Supervise and manage the operations of the fabric-testing laboratory.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Lab Management
• Supervise and manage the daily operations of the fabric-testing laboratory.
• Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained properly.
• Develop and implement laboratory protocols and procedures.

Fabric Testing
• Conduct physical and chemical tests on fabrics, including tensile strength, colorfastness, shrinkage, and more.
• Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Quality Assurance
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
• Identify and address any quality issues or defects in fabrics.
• Implement corrective actions and process improvements based on lab findings.

Documentation and Reporting
• Maintain accurate records of all tests conducted and results obtained.
• Prepare and present reports on fabric quality and test results to management and clients.
• Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership
• Train and supervise lab technicians and junior staff.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to lab team members.

Client Coordination
• Work closely with clients to understand their testing requirements and ensure these are met.
• Provide technical support and advice to clients regarding fabric quality and performance.
• Address any client concerns or queries related to lab testing.
