POSITION SUMMARY:
The Head of Learning and Development will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive learning and development programs that align with the strategic goals of Sun Group. The job holder will play a critical role in fostering a culture of continuous learning, enhancing employee skills and competencies, and driving organizational performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1- Strategic Leadership
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify key learning and development needs across the organization.
- Develop and execute a strategic learning and development plan that supports the overall goals and objectives of Sun Group.
- Drive initiatives that promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
2- Program Development and Implementation
- Design and implement various learning programs, including leadership development, technical training, soft skills enhancement, and onboarding program.
- Utilize a blend of learning methodologies, such as e-learning, workshops, coaching, and mentoring, to deliver impactful training experience
Ensure that all learning programs are aligned with current industry trends and best practice.
3- Talent Development
- Identify high-potential employees and create tailored development plans to prepare them for future leadership role.
- Implement succession planning initiatives to ensure a robust pipeline of talents for key positions within the organization.
- Facilitate career development discussions and guide career paths and growth opportunities.
4- Performance Management
- Work with managers to identify performance gaps and implement targeted development solution.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive performance management system that includes setting clear performance expectations, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance review.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development programs through metrics and feedback.
5- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including department heads, HR partners, and external training vendor.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all matters related to learning and development.
- Lead a team of learning and development professionals, providing direction, coaching, and support
