1/ Strategy Development
- Responsible for the development of the Annual Operations Plan and leading execution plans for marketing and communication operations.
2/ Brand & Marketing Strategy - Develop and execute multi-year brand and marketing strategies and supporting plans to promote Amway brands, including:
- Leading brand positioning, product pricing, and new product launches.
- Developing and executing actionable affiliate-specific strategies in line with regional marketing directions.
- Leading category/portfolio planning, including the discontinuation of underperforming products.
- Developing and executing marketing campaigns, programs, experiences, or promotions to support brand awareness and favorability through advertising, all types of media, promotions, comprehensive spokesperson initiatives, sponsorships, and expert speaker programs.
3/ Creative Communication Materials - Direct the development of creative communication materials to ensure results and marketing goals set by brand management are met.
- Lead the development of the creative look for assigned products/brands and associated communication materials.
- Developing and managing the production of kits, BSMs, expos, and branding at physical shops with sufficient content information and quality pictures, images, and layouts.
- Plan and manage the development and execution of communication materials and editorial activities to provide a useful channel for distributors to support business needs, including:
- Managing the creation of concepts and content for materials related to all sales and marketing support activities.
4/ Digital Marketing Strategy - Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to support Amway products/brands, including:
- Emerging media efforts such as mobile solutions and applications, display media, and micro-casting.
- Social Influence Marketing efforts such as social networks, listening platforms, viral marketing, and blogging.
- Digital marketing efforts such as SEO/SEM, applets, web videos, etc.
- Web brand experiences that leverage industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies.
- Technology integration to align with the needs of global content strategies.
- Implementation of digital content best practices and solutions.
5/ Market Insights and Research
- Develop and implement market data sourcing plans and budgets for the local market.
- Manage the selection of appropriate market data sources and suppliers.
- Manage consumer, distributor, market, and competitive insights to guide the development of market strategies and business operating plans.
- Establish research standards, databases, and processes, and manage research implementation.
- Provide market research reporting for innovative solutions.
6/ Staff Management
- Manage staff performance, motivate and reward effectively and efficiently to ensure high engagement.
- Acquire and recruit qualified staff for the right positions.
- Strengthen staff skills through consistent on-the-job training programs and appropriate external job-related training courses.
- Build and execute development plans for workforce development and talent pool retention to meet expanded business requirements.
- Maximize resources effectively.
7/ Leadership and Initiatives
- Lead important regional initiatives and other ad-hoc projects as required.
