What will you work on?
Complete the model / prototypes building on time and in good quality with clear understanding of the requirements.
How will you create impact?
- Read blueprints, calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of math and instruments such as calipers, micrometers.
- Create machine parts by using of lathes, mills, drills, grinders and all shop equipment, including knowledge of safety procedures.
- Communicates design-related concerns and issues to engineers and suggest alternate production methods, materials, or cuts that may be more feasible, but still fulfill the functionality requirements with highest quality.
- Build models from engineer drawing using plastic, metal, composite material
- Perform duties assigned by Model Shop Supervisor
