Job Description
The Operations Manager for Central Vietnam is a part of the Operations Department at JD Tours Vietnam.
At the core of our work is making our clients fall in love with our efficiency, organisation, and punctuality and going above and beyond to ensure clients have the best experience while in Vietnam. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality travel services, and optimizing operational efficiency. This role involves coordinating with various teams, managing local vendors, and ensuring compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the Central Vietnam tourism landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations in Central Vietnam, ensuring all services are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.
• Manage relationships with local vendors, suppliers, and partners to enhance service offerings and ensure quality.
• Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Assist in cost planning and development of FIT and series.
• Verify and process tour information and special requests with the operations team.
• Support Managers in resolving on-site issues and enhancing customer service.
• Develop and maintain operational budgets, tracking expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Train, mentor, and lead the operations team to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Provide advice on weather, dining, attractions, and local events.
• Brief tour leaders/guides on trip details, client expectations, and special needs.
• Ensure local guide quality through regular troubleshooting and feedback.
• Address and resolve operational issues, escalating as needed.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally, implementing solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Senior Managers.
