Job Purpose & Overview
The pattern maker position is responsible for designing pattern samples to accomplish
buyer requirement
Principal Responsibilities
Designing
• Collect all relevant metrics of product given by buyer (dimension,
construction notes, material, components)
• Analyze product structure
• Sketch out the pattern on software, develop the final pattern and
build up a paper pattern
Cutting session
• Arrange a suitable cutting diagram to match with cutting table
• Clarify material on pattern sample for cutting
Sewing session
• Guide sewer, technician how to read and understand pattern
drawing – board correctly
• Work closely with sample room team to accomplish final pattern
drawing-board and pass Bulk test
