Process Engineer

The Process Engineer role is critical to the development of our factories to World Class, which means zero defects, zero waste and zero losses. She/he will apply extensively the full range of Focused and Quality Improvement methods and tools to counter losses identified in the areas of Safety, Quality, Cost Deployment, Early Equipment Management, Customer Service and Logistics. The Cost Deployment pillar will be populated with data built up through application of the Managing Manufacturing Performance Code, which is key to ensuring focus on key losses.
Working directly with the line crews on a daily basis the Process Engineer also acts as the technical trainer for line teams and provides coaching in phenomena identification, root cause analysis and the establishment of countermeasures.
The Process Engineer is responsible for the validation of all process improvements and the establishment of revised basic conditions on the line. A core deliverable is eliminating losses and wastes and increase the stability of the line to support the transition of traditional line teams to semi-autonomous teams.
1. Process analysis: Conducting a detailed analysis of existing manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
2. Process design and improvement: Developing and implementing strategies to optimize manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
3. Data analysis: Collecting and analyzing data related to process performance to identify trends and areas for improvement.
4. Continuous improvement: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement projects. Conducting root cause analysis, leading Kaizen events, and implementing lean manufacturing principles to drive process optimization.
5. SHE-Q control: Collaborating with SHE-Q teams to ensure that manufacturing processes meet all standards and specifications. This involves conducting audits, implementing control measures, and identifying areas for improvement in quality control processes.
6. Standardized and training: Creating and maintaining documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions for manufacturing processes.
7. Cost reduction and resource optimization: strive to reduce costs by improving efficiency, minimizing waste, and optimizing the use of resources such as raw materials, energy, and labor.

1. Phân tích quy trình: Tiến hành phân tích chi tiết các quy trình sản xuất hiện có để xác định các cơ hội cải tiến.
2. Thiết kế và cải tiến quy trình: Phát triển và thực hiện các chiến lược nhằm tối ưu hóa quy trình sản xuất nhằm nâng cao năng suất và giảm lãng phí.
3. Phân tích dữ liệu: Thu thập và phân tích dữ liệu liên quan đến hiệu suất của quy trình để xác định xu hướng và các lĩnh vực cần cải tiến.
4. Cải tiến liên tục: Cộng tác với các nhóm chức năng chéo để xác định và thực hiện các dự án cải tiến liên tục. Tiến hành phân tích nguyên nhân gốc rễ, dẫn dắt các sự kiện Kaizen và thực hiện các nguyên tắc sản xuất tinh gọn để thúc đẩy tối ưu hóa quy trình.
5. Kiểm soát SHE-Q: Cộng tác với các nhóm SHE-Q để đảm bảo rằng quy trình sản xuất đáp ứng tất cả các tiêu chuẩn và thông số kỹ thuật. Điều này bao gồm việc tiến hành kiểm toán, thực hiện các biện pháp kiểm soát và xác định các lĩnh vực cần cải thiện trong quy trình kiểm soát chất lượng.
6. Tiêu chuẩn hóa và đào tạo: Tạo và duy trì tài liệu, quy trình vận hành tiêu chuẩn (SOP) và hướng dẫn công việc cho quy trình sản xuất.
7. Giảm chi phí và tối ưu hóa tài nguyên: phấn đấu giảm chi phí bằng cách nâng cao hiệu quả, giảm thiểu lãng phí và tối ưu hóa việc sử dụng các nguồn tài nguyên như nguyên liệu thô, năng lượng và lao động.
