QA Manager

You will ensure that all manufactured products meet both internal and end customer requirements for quality for a manufacturing site. Lead quality for manufacturing and remote location(s). You will be reporting directly to Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
• Promote and demonstrate a culture of quality through communication, awareness activities and action.
• Collaborate with the site management team to set quality goals
• Lead the QMS for the site and ensure it meets requirements for certifications and aligns with the PPG Global QMS standards. Lead the use of a quality management system through influence leadership
• Use and promote the QMS following industry standards and customer expectations / customer scorecards documented through 3rd party registration/ certification.
• Identify quality control processes to ensure that product performance criteria are met at all times
• Record quality findings and communicate this information to the appropriate leaders.
• Participate in crucial decisions in favor of cost-efficiency without compromising on quality
• Manage an internal audit program to ensure product conformity in final product and identify improvement opportunities
• Ensure that customer complaints are prompted and thoroughly resolved through root cause based corrective action.
• Develop and implement MOC process for all quality related changes
• Track QMS system corrective/ preventive actions and status to ensure closure
• Participate as a member of the PPG Quality Regional Leaders Network
• Part of Site Leadership Staff
