Quality Control Engineer

Test Planning and Strategy:
● Execute comprehensive test strategies and plans in collaboration with stakeholders (software developers, product managers..)
● Define test objectives, criteria, and priorities based on software requirements and business goals.
● Ensure timely execution of test efforts.
Testing:
● Execute hands-on testing, including manual and automated testing, to verify software functionality, performance, and security.
● Conduct rigorous regression testing, exploratory testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
● Create accurate and comprehensive test cases and test scripts
Test Automation:
● Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks. This includes (but is not limited to) writing test scripts within code to ensure testing of functions within code
● Champion test automation best practices and contribute to the growth of automation coverage.
● Continuously improve the test automation infrastructure for efficiency and scalability.
Defect Management:
● Track defects and work with engineers to resolve them
● Communicate defects and testing progress to stakeholders.
● Test Documentation:
● Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
● Ensure that testing documentation is up-to-date and accessible to the team.

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
● 5+ years of proven experience as a Software Test Engineer, Quality Control with a focus on automation.
● Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
● Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Testify, Selenium).
● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● High English language proficiency.
