My client, a Japanese manufacturer specializing in stoves and other kitchen equipment, is seeking an
R&D Manager
to lead their R&D team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving innovation, managing research and development projects, and contributing new ideas to advance product development and technological advancements.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Manage R&D-related programs including research and development.
- Responsible for effectively managing the R&D department, supporting and meeting the company's business objectives, including implementing, researching, improving, and managing strategies, policies, and programs related to R&D.
- Use general knowledge to establish, manage, and develop new products, implementing programs to meet the organization's needs and objectives.
- Support senior management and other responsibilities as requested.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for managing the R&D department
- Ensure the schedule for new product preparation
- Coordinate with related departments to develop corrective and preventive actions for quality issues
- Research and develop new products
- Support relevant departments in completing tasks
- Contact customers to obtain product requirements and apply solutions for improvement issues
- Evaluate subordinates
- Review and approve new products
- Implement and execute the 5S program
