The Sales Manager – Warehouse Automation Solutions
is responsible to present, promote and sell industrial equipment and solutions, drawing from all three existing Product Lines Engineering Operations (EO), Process Technology (PT) and Technical Services (TS) for the Warehouse Automation industry segments to existing and prospective customers. By this activity, the Sales Manager will actively support the Company’s growth and success.
• Present, promote and sell industrial equipment and solutions for the Warehouse Automation industry segments, incl. the company’s Engineering Operations portfolio to existing and prospective customers.
- Perform analyses of existing and potential customers’ needs and offer solutions that address their needs, including submission of the Project Evaluation Form (PEF) and Project Management (PM) Scorecard.
- Identify target customers based on identified industry segments
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations, proof of concepts and any other related demonstrations relevant to sales.
- Prepare and calculate standard offer/quotations based on identified customer needs in line with company’s standards, rules and regulations or as directed and submit for approval. Support the functional manager for complex offers.
- Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions in close coordination with the functional manager and in line with company’s standards, rules and regulations or as directed.
- Generate sales calls and visit existing and potential customers.
- Contribute necessary information for prompt order registration and commercial handover to local and Procurement Center (PC) order processing.
- Conduct regular sales planning and report it to the functional manager.
- Update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system regularly.
- Cooperate and coordinate with team members and other departments especially Technical Services, Engineering Operations, and sales colleagues from other departments, to offer and execute solutions that fulfil the customer’s needs.
• Analyze the market as input for suitable sales strategies.
- Keep constantly updated on relevant knowledge, trends, and best practices.
- Forecast, analyze, and report to the functional manager market potentials, trends (innovations), customer needs, interests and problems and appraise customer segmentation and competitor activities including information on cross country investments of customers.
- Plan sales activity based on market analysis.
• Grow the business by being visible in the market.
- Make suggestions for and support the organization of local fairs, seminars, conferences, and market analyses.
- Attend local and international company fairs.
• Develop, establish, and maintain long term, positive relationships with customers.
- Build and maintain strong and sustainable relationships with customers by emphasizing the company’s comprehensive industrial solutions.
- Anticipate questions, concerns and future issues and provide solutions that will consistently result in repeated business, word of mouth referrals and increased sales.
- Find solutions to customer issues and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Make contact and promote good relationships with subject matter experts, key customers, and decision makers.
- Provide excellent service to customers by giving undivided attention and focus on meeting their needs.
- Represent the company to the public, key stakeholders, and partners to ensure a good reputation.
