Senior Corporate Legal Manager

General scope
Responsible for managing delivery relating to M&A transactions and finance & banking deals. This position also involves supporting legal matters for internal teams and departments, developing and maintaining legal corporate governance & compliance frameworks, and building and managing legal teams for relevant designated tasks.
1. M&A Transactions and Finance & Banking Deals
• Provide legal support and advice on finance and banking deals, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations;
• Collaborate with deal teams, partners, and external lawyers to facilitate successful transaction outcomes;
• Manage legal aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, negotiations, and integration.
2. Internal Legal Support
• Advise and support internal teams and departments on a wide range of legal matters, including contracts, employment law, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance;
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements to mitigate risks and protect the company’s interests.
3. Corporate Governance & Compliance
• Monitor and update company policies and procedures to reflect changes in legal requirements and best practices;
• Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify and address potential risks.
4. Team Management
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting continuous learning and professional development;
• Oversee the allocation of tasks and resources within the legal team to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
5. Others
• Perform other duties as reasonably assigned from time to time by the direct report.
