Job purpose
The Service Engineer provides discipline engineering support to projects on matters related to construction efficiency and installation of equipment, components and systems. He/She oversees the planning and execution of engineering construction, and ensures adherence to cost, time, quality, and safety targets while maintaining compliance with external regulations and organisational standards. He provides technical support for query resolutions and mechanical completion activities. He manages a team of technicians and contributes to the improvement of business operations.
Scope of work
1. Handling, troubleshooting and overhauling of rotating equipment. (e.g centrifugal pumps/ compressor / mixers (agitators) / decanter
2. Representing the company to handle a group of customers and assist them to monitor their equipment condition
3. To advise the work scope required of the service or overhaul work of rotating equipment and provide root cause analysis
4. To liaise with internal technical crew for the material, equipment and services required for the overhaul work
5. To communicate and explain the required to customer and crew team for work
6. To organise and lead a crew for site work when required.
7. Able to troubleshoot and solved bad actors equipment with good analytical skill
8. Improving procedures and processes within the workshop to achieve department objectives and targets
