ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Do route survey and make proper route survey report for wind power projects.
Consult and advise the best transport method statement for specific type of cargo.
Design transport drawings for components of wind turbine.
Supervise and control transport activities of projects.
Making sure trailer configurations are properly prepared for transport activities as given schedule.
Inspecting vehicles utilized for project before operation.
Arranging repairs and routine maintenance for project’s vehicles and equipment.
Ensuring that all drivers and operators have the correct, up to date qualifications.
Reducing the risk of vehicle overloading.
Manage and coordinate the transportation of cargoes to ensure timely delivery to site.
Maintaining and completing accurate transport records.
Managing transportation budgets and expenses.
Organising team members.
