1. Treasury:
• Reviews and reconciles transactions and financial activities according to policies; records changes, reconciles and resolves differences; reviews financial, banking, investment, and accounting records and corrects errors as required; monitors accounting documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with VN State Bank, and PVM policies and practices.
• Primary staff contact with banks.
• Prepare & analyze cash forecast daily, weekly, monthly for local & Group Management team.
• Check all loans to make sure it is recorded and interest is calculated correctly.
• Assist the departmental leadership in evaluating investment options based on maturity and cash flow demands.
• Responds to questions and resolves accounting issues within scope of authority.
• Assists in accounting activities, including journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, cash receipts, special funds, and payroll; checks documents for validity and accuracy of information; updates and corrects accounting records and database.
• Assists staff with accounting tasks, including processing accounts payable, receivables and various technical transactions.
• Maintains and enforces all aspects of security and confidentiality of records and information.
• Hires, trains and supervises personnel; monitors and ensures staff compliance with treasury and financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
2. Accounting project:
• Manages special accounting projects as directed.
• Support accounting software implementations
• Coordinate and assist in the accounting software configuration, testing, and user training
• Identify technology and process improvements to make the implementation approach more efficient with each new project
• Develop a positive relationship with functions to support implementation and utilization
• Collaborate with senior management and key user groups
• Developing a deep understanding of business and industry needs and conveying requirements and feedback to the product team
• Ensure a smooth transition from implementation to ongoing support teams
