MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
- The role is to support PEM (Jar) in plan, coordinate, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within Capex budget for the Diana project. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.
- As one of the key people in project team leading Utility team in design, implementation and start-up phases of project Diana, having close alignment and collaboration with multiple stakeholders through the project life cycle.
- Deliver expertise to project in area of Utility ensuring full compliances, health and safety, product safety and environment are never compromised.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROJECT UTILITY LEAD:
1. Utility System Design:
- Work with process user and design consultant to finalize the required system design (including URS, P&ID and TPM characteristics) within the deadline.
- Closely work with draftsman in developing the installation designs (BIM).
- Define the project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in the responsible area of Utility.
- Ensure system design fulfill process operation per Nestle standard & requirements.
2. Project Management:
- Be responsible for the overall site Utility installation works and monitor the progress.
- Create detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans. Identify potential issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Execute on Utility installation and commissioning timely by making sure product and testing quality level is appropriate.
- Manage the day-to-day operations aspects of the project - Utility works and support the processing installation.
3. Lead and manage:
- Coordinate with external installation team to ensure a safe and smooth installation execution and resolve any conflict between owner-contractors and among contractors.
- Be the Utility lead to integrate, feedback, coach, develop, manage and evaluate the subordinates.
- Mobilize resources (internal & external). Training and coaching for trainees. Keep all the required communication channels open.
4. Safety and Health:
- Implement site SHE protocols to ensure installation work is done in a safe manner and observe all company/governmental regulations
- Promote development of environmental-friendly and sustainable solutions.
5. Standard and Compliance: Ensure that installation by contractors is according to specifications and comply with relevant regulations and Nestle’s standards
