* Job Brief:
We are looking for a Pastry Chef de Party to be the second in line command in our kitchen, following our Head Chef’s specifications and guidelines. The successful candidate will employ its culinary and managerial skills in order to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our customers’ satisfaction, leading the Bakery, Pastries Cake, Baguette, Pizza… Beach Club to high efficient, unique
* Main responsibilities:
- Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise
- Help in the preparation and design of all Bakery, Pastries, Cakes, Baguettes, Pizza…
- Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
Fill in for the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Manage and train kitchen staff
- Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately
- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
- Establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance
- Corporate with service team to bring the best experience & service efficiency to guest
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guest, well internal & external relationship
- “Spirit of Ready to serve”
- Corporate with Head Chef for updating new Pastries, cakes… – presentation Every Six months
- Stealing, breakage and lost management & control
Yêu cầu kỹ năng
* Requirements
- “A good mind & an open-heart man”
- Excellent record of kitchen and staff management
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Working knowledge of Purchasing software, MS office
- Familiar with industry’s best practices
- Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions
- 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef/ Chef de Party
- Degree in Culinary science or related certificate if any
