Asia Pacific Regional Commercial Finance Analyst

Summary of the Role
The Commercial Finance Analyst role for BU AP is responsible for supporting the Commercial Finance & Portfolio Growth Manager to drive the commercial finance and portfolio growth agenda for BU AP. From a commercial finance perspective, this role helps consolidate competitive analysis, category value pools and the long-term financial range plan. From portfolio growth perspective, this role is responsible for supporting the regional PMR and Stage &Gate process as well as coordinating the product master data across the six operating companies (OCs).
Key Responsibilities
1. Consolidate data BUAP on competitive analysis, value pools and long-term range plan
2. Support ad-hoc analysis and projects related to investment opportunities, product portfolio expansions and promotion/investment analysis
3. Support facilitating creation of the regional PMR deck and Stage Gate deck by working with OC Marketing, P&D and Finance team contacts that is reviewed by BU LT
4. Prepare NPD reports and consolidate regional product master plan, portfolio performance, to support decision making in regional PMR/Stage Gate
5. Act as a data co-ordinator for OC marketing teams and global Master data teams and takes part in preparation of PEAK project
6. Integrate product information from manufacturing OCs in a SharePoint database to be used across all BUAP OCs for information on product portfolio/SKU menu.
• Harmonize minimum information such as source, segment, flavor, pack type/weight, case count, markets sold to, recipe
• Organize into a user-friendly format for the OC teams to access
• Refresh quarterly based on new SKUs launched
7. Help drive reduction of complexity in BU AP portfolio and support future NPD Global system PLM implementation for BUAP.
