Assistant Design Manager

1/ General:
Assistant Design Manager work closely with the Design and Construction team during the building process. They communicate with clients/and or his Boss to create building drawings, renderings or models, to meet client needs and comply with any local, state or federal regulations. Due to the high level of expertise and safety protocols required, Assistant Design Manager must earn at least a bachelor's degree in architecture/structure.
Working Place : Hanoi and other cities on business trip
2/ Key responsibilities:
Will include working with, and coordinating, an architectural/engineering team in preparing drawings and documents for projects focused on.
He will perform the initial design phase, detailed design phases of Architectural/Structure design work for projects requiring interface and collaboration with various disciplines, clients, and consultants. Prepares Architectural plans, and/or supervises their execution. Performs analysis of design and construction systems, planning studies, design layouts, and construction details. Oversees research used in writing specifications, including coordinating with manufacturers. Conducts site and construction inspections for information-gathering purposes, preparing interpretive reports. Executes code analysis, material selections, and technical solutions. Analyzes design and construction systems, design layouts, and construction features, which require researching, compiling, and recording information for assigned project work. Coordinates with other disciplines. Plan, schedule, coordinate, manage, and oversee the work.
Essential Duties Include:
• Determine collectively with multiple design disciplines, the technical approach and design criteria for projects
• Work with architectural/structural staff under Design Manager in a team
• Develop design details, plans and specifications
• Discuss with the local design company (Structure, Architecture etc) and various consultants
• Calculate the quantities (like as QS) from the drawing
• Use computer software as a design tool for solving complex architectural problems
• Contribute new designs, or techniques that are of material significance in the solution of important problems
• Remain current in codes and technologies appropriate to the architecture/structure discipline .
• Ensure conformance with standards, established architectural practices, applicable codes, and technical adequacy of design and construction
• Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
• Support SM, DGM & GM for other tasks,
• Make and check Design, Shop drawings & perspectives, etc.
