Associate EHS Manager

The Associate EHS Manager is responsible for all Environmental, Health and Safety- re-lated activities. This includes:
* EHS: No accident
- Carrying out safety risk assessments prior to starting a new project. Lead and implement projects in conformance to technical and local regulations, EHS, quality, environmental and economical standards, time schedule, costs and customer requirements.
- Ensure all manufacturing processes in compliance with EHS regulations & standards.
- Investigate and report on any EHS incidents or accidents and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
- Stay up-to-date on EHS regulations and industry best practices and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Analyse and assess the entire process chain with regards to benchmark figure (eg. Incidents, accidents, near miss,...), work out ideas for EHS-improvements,
- Create and deliver training programs on EHS practices and procedures for all employees, Manage and maintain EHS documentation and records
* Quality:
- Be aware that product quality is the key characteristic that distinguishes tesa from its competitors and he will contribute in his daily routine to maintain and improve the status quo in compliance with tesa QMS, Permanent professional solutions to occurred problems should be sought.
* Audit (ISO14001 IATF16949)
- All maintenance activities as well as safety check to meet IATF16949 and ISO14001 demands/ standards.
- Be EMR to ensure an environmental management system is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with this International Standard.
- Analyze and ensure plant processes are in accordance with IATF and ISO standards.
- Report to top management on the performance of the environmental management system for review, including recommendations for improvement.
* Security Management
- Lead and manage both security guards, evaluate guards’ performance: access control, plant safe-ty check, emergency response etc. Investigate any complaint about guards and handle it properly.
- Lead in any investigation if there is any unwanted event happened (e.g. Robbery, fighting, pilfer-age or violation to tesa’s Security rules).
- Ensure all Security monitoring equipment and systems are properly maintained.
- Work with concerned government bodies when there is a need (e.g. police department, Fire and Rescue)
