Business Development Assistant

Main Task: Business development, which includes function of sales & marketing, for i) investment projects (as IPP developer) and ii) EPC projects (as EPC contractor)

JFE Engineering is a global company having headquarter in Yokohama, Japan, working mainly in the fields of environmental solutions, renewable energies, infrastructures and process plants. As recent reference cases in Vietnam, JFE Engineering has been constructing Yen Xa Wastewater Treatment Plant in Ha Noi and Waste-to-Energy Plant in Bac Ninh. Furthermore, latest activities expanding to Chemical Processing Plant in Ba Ria Vung Tau, as well as developing various Biomass Power Plant projects and other Renewable Energy projects across Vietnam.
JFE Engineering Vietnam Co., Ltd. is a 100% subsidiary for JFE Engineering, acting as business development and project support arm, and is looking for candidates with passion and experience who can work with us to provide solutions in Vietnam.
Fields to Focus:
1. Business development and project support from aspect of both i) investment and ii) EPC
 Waste-to-Energy
 Biomass-to-Energy
 Other renewable energy such as solar or wind
2. Business development and project support from aspect of EPC only
 Water/Wastewater treatment plants
 Process plants
 Steel structure projects such as steel bridge and special steel frame works
3. Other business development
 Networking with fabricators and suppliers
 Any other business opportunities of JFE Engineering
Scope of Work:
1. Regular market research works in Vietnam and summarize them as reports;
2. Support to analyze business opportunities comprehensively and discuss suitable business plans covering financial and legal aspects;
3. Support to maintain and develop channels with partners, contractors, suppliers, lenders and authorities, to realize business opportunities;
4. Work smoothly with other Business Development members in Japan, Vietnam and other countries;
5. Study related standards and regulations and identifying all the necessary permissions to start businesses;
6. Support analyzing cash flow of projects;
7. Support negotiating contract conditions;
8. Support establishing companies and/or Project offices if necessary;
9. Support setting up necessary organizations and rules to manage and monitor those companies; and
10. Support visitors including VIPs who visit JFE Engineering Vietnam, other companies, or any project which JFE Engineering is undertaking.
11. Perform other administrative tasks under BD team such as documents archiving, filing, materials preparation for meetings
