Business Intelligence Analyst

1.Build and Maintain BI Reporting System:
Ensure the BI reporting system is robust, scalable, and able to meet the evolving needs of the business.
Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and availability.
Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support business operations.
Design, develop, and implement BI solutions to support various departments, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations.
Regularly update and optimize BI reports to reflect changes in business processes and requirements.
2. Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
3. Business Glossary and User Guide Development:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive business glossary to ensure consistent terminology and definitions across the organization.
Create detailed user guides to help stakeholders understand and effectively use BI reports and dashboards.
Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance data literacy and ensure effective utilization of BI tools and reports.
4. Support Strategic Planning and Decision Making:
Assist in monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
Provide support in delivering data-driven insights to aid in strategic initiatives, such as market analysis, customer segmentation, and product performance evaluation.
Assist in monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of stores, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
5. Data Management and Governance:
Ensure data quality and consistency across all reports and analysis.
Help develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
Maintain up-to-date documentation of data sources, methodologies, and processes

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
0-2 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role, preferably in the retail industry. Exposure to developing and implementing BI solutions and tools is a plus.
Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus
Intermediate proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker. Intermediate SQL skills and familiarity with database management systems (e.g., BigQuery, SQL Server, MySQL).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, advanced formulas).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
