Buyer (Manufacturing field)

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Place local and overseas purchase orders on a timely basis at approved prices.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure materials arrive in time, on spec and cost-effectively.
• Collect and consolidate purchase documents and records to issue payment requests and coordinate with finance department and suppliers toward completion.
• Update prices for Manager.
• Update suppliers and prices list.
• Look for and recommend ideas to improve job efficiency.
