Chief Risk Officer (CRO)

As the Chief Risk Officer at Galaxy FinX (Vikki Digital Bank), you will play a critical role in safeguarding our digital bank's integrity and financial health. You will lead the Risk Management department, focusing on developing and implementing comprehensive risk policies and procedures across all aspects of consumer lending. Your expertise will directly influence the bank's risk culture and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal guidelines.
Key responsibilities:
● Develop and oversee the bank's risk management framework, including risk appetite, risk limits, and risk-related controls, tailored for digital banking and consumer lending.
● Identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks in the bank’s lending practices, including credit, market, operational, and liquidity risks.
● Lead the integration and utilization of advanced risk modeling and analytics to forecast potential outcomes and make data-driven decision
● Establish robust risk assessment processes and ensure they are integrated into the product development and customer acquisition strategies.
● Collaborate with other senior leaders to align risk management strategies with overall business objectives and regulatory requirements.
● Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, about the bank's risk profile and mitigation strategies.
● Develop and maintain a dynamic team of risk professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
● Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in risk management and digital banking to continuously refine and enhance the bank’s strategies
