Maintenance and development of cross-sell Underwriting (UW) strategies:
• Conduct advanced data analysis, apply data mining, quantitative analysis and visualization techniques to exam existing UW risk status and identify opportunities for improvements
• Comprehensive analysis and implementation of complex underwriting workflows (Limit and annuity calculation review, utilization of income score, GM scores, Offline Blaze strategy redesign)
• Propose new technological improvements to satisfy risk, approval rate, eligibility rate and time to yes requirements such as policy, statistical models, scorecards and technical implementation
• Ensure monitoring of UW performance and fast reactions to any deviations from the agreed risk appetite
Infrastructure development:
• Develop technical solutions in Python, SQL packages
and DWH
structures to accommodate new business requirements
• Make advanced models for data-driven decisions, analyze data from multiple angles from multiple sources, exam existing business status, look for trends that highlight problems or opportunities, predictions and identify risks
• Optimization of runtime of key process in UW and limit generation processes
