EHS Manager (Good English)

EHS manager supports the factory management to carry their responsibility in ensuring the healthy and safe workplace for all employees working at Factory premises, including external workforce and suppliers. S/he continuously seeks for opportunities, together with the factory mgmt. and employees, to further improve the health and safety culture and the employee well-being.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and implement ES&H programs, compliance strategies, and management systems.
2. Inspect and evaluate workplace environment, equipment, and work practices to ensure compliance with ES&H regulations and company policies.
3. Effect change by developing appropriate action plans to address program deficiencies, and ensure continuous improvement in a timely manner to effectively address the issues and underlying risks.
4. Coordinate the development of injury/illness prevention plans to achieve both short and long-term improvement goals.
5. Lead incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent injury re-occurrence.
6. Drive timely response to environmental, safety and health issues or employee concerns.
7. Manage key internal stakeholder partnerships with Manufacturing, Human Resources, local non-governmental entities and Regulatory Agencies.
8. Provide coaching, career development, performance evaluation, and mentoring of factory ES&H team.
9. Manage and conduct routine management reviews on key ES&H program areas, and communicate trends to senior manufacturing leaders on the results of ongoing reviews.
10. Prepare and conduct required regulatory training programs for Microsoft employees and contingent staff to increase awareness of environmental, safety and health issues.
11. Manage the Hanoi factory’s ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certificates and system.
12. Introduce best management practices and resource conservation measures to reuse, reclaim, and recycle generated waste.
