Engineering Manager/Assistant Engineering Manager (Hard / Soft Toys)

We are now looking for 2 Manager/ Assistant Manager, Engineering manage our different parts of Engineering.
As a member of the Asia Operations Team, you will report to the Engineering Director and be responsible for managing and lead a team of Project Manager and Engineers to carry out all
engineering activities at vendors on the product development and debug to meet the product specifications, cost and schedule.
HOW WILL YOU CREATE IMPACT?
Manager/Assistant Manager leading Interactive/Doll/Plush
• Support and grow our Interactive/Doll/Plush business.
• Plan, manage, and control engineering development activities from prototyping to
production.
• Communicate and resolve all product, quality and manufacturing issues with vendors
and internal departments.
• Handle the consigned material, and special components sourcing and cost
negotiation.
• Assist sourcing, MOQ and cost negotiation on new material and material
authorization review.
• Provide technical support and debug as needed.
• Drive VAVE activities to meet targeted cost saving.
• Train and develop staffs.
• Perform ad hoc assignments as assigned by management.
Assistant Manager leading Model Shop
• Lead the team of model shop, and monitoring quality and schedule of model building.
• Monitoring quality & schedule of model building including Sculptor, Model Maker & Mechanical Design department;
• Teach our PDD Model Makers to improve their model making
• Innovate new model building technology & materials types for quality/ schedule/ cost improvement.
• Maintain workshop in clear & safety condition;
• Train and develop Model shop function.
