✔ Core responsibilities
● Teaching quality management including observations, workshops, and general training for the teachers’ team, especially providing training and support to the teachers on how to use the curriculum and content effectively
● Academic operation management.
● Arrange and conduct academic training sessions using internal resources, and proposing external solutions as required by the B.O.D.
● Propose an academic development plan to the B.O.D on maintaining and developing teaching quality for the center and school.
● Predict the required number of Teachers, report to B.O.D and initiate the recruitment process.
● Liaise with the B.O.D to devise marketing strategies to promote PEC’s curriculum and content to potential customers.
✔ Strategic Direction and Development
● Provide a clear strategic vision and direction for the continued development of the curriculum and learning materials
● Provide inspirational, innovative, and motivational leadership to B.O.D to enable all pupils and staff to achieve their highest potential.
✔ Teaching and Learning
● Contribute to the evaluation of the design and delivery of the curriculum, continuously improving all aspects.
● Support the delivery of an innovative approach to teaching and play-based learning.
● Help to introduce and implement proven, effective strategies that are designed to raise standards continually.
● Ensure an appropriate and effective assessment, recording, and reporting system of pupil’s development, regularly reporting pupil’s progress throughout the academic year.
● Collaborate with the Operations team and the teachers to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the learning materials and outcome.
✔ Leading and managing staff
● Manage the performance of all center teaching staff
● Lead the team of Academic Managers to deliver an appropriate program of professional development for all of the teachers' team, including quality coaching and mentoring, in line with the center development plan and performance management.
