Thien Minh Group (TMG) is a leading travel & hospitality business within Asia and Europe offering 4 different pillars within travel; DMC, Hotels and cruises – we own 11 hotels and 7 river and sea boats with plans to expand our assets as we move into these new markets; Airlines, we own 3 seaplanes that operate in our homeland Vietnam; Online – as one of Vietnam’s most successful Online travel Agents, we are industry leaders in technology, developed inhouse.
Vivu Journeys is one of the brands owned by TMG. We are a Destination Management Company (DMC) operating in the UK, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and Cambodia and have plans to expand globally.
Vivu Journeys works as a business to business (B2B) partner of tour operators and travel companies around the world, as their trusted partner in the countries we operate in, we create, book and operate touring holidays on their behalf. We work with accommodation, experiences, food and beverage sup-pliers, transportation companies and tour guides to create tours and holidays.
POSITION PURPOSE
.
The role of International Agent Sales Executive (IAS Executive) entails tasks and processes to develop and implement growth opportunities within Vivu Journeys. You are a proactive member of the IAS Team reporting to the IAS Team Leader. You are going to work closely with regional teams ensuring the execution of the tender invitation from a pro-spect/client and guarantee all the relevant Vivu Journeys departments will work on specific guidelines and in a timely manner. You are entirely part of the growth of the company, winning a new account being the first milestone before the customer journeys kicks off. You are expected to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Client’s brand, expectations and standards, and be keen for success.
MAJOR TASKS
Sales
• In charge of International Agent Sales for all Vivu Journeys Europe destinations
• Perpetuate key relationships with all internal departments
• Engage and work with the Vivu Journeys teams to get all information and rates related to the tender
• Prepare the dedicated costing sheets to plug in all rates received and finalize the financial aspect of the tender
• Extract the final itineraries from the system
• Discuss with Business Development Managers in charge of the account to plan and set margins
• Suggest and implement ideas that may grow business
Customer Sales Experience
• Be solutions based when working on a tender
• Prepare reviews of program for clients and recommendations on strategic direction (in case of like for like itineraries)
• Ensure growth in line with company budget
Support
• Liaise with relevant teams once a tender is won to get all itineraries and prices loaded in the system
• Make sure the services get renegotiated to ensure profit is maximized
Self-Development
• Ask as well as participate in any trainings or upskilling recommended by Business Development Managers or you feel relevant to your role
• Ensure you maintain up to date with product knowledge and understand the Vivu Journeys offerings
Working time: willing to work with UK shift (2-10pm VN time)
