Interpreter & Translator (Contracted)

SCOPE OVERVIEW:
The position will provide professional interpretation services for live meetings and document translation to support effective communication and understanding between non-native employees and local employees. This role is crucial in ensuring clarity, accuracy, and cultural sensitivity in all translated materials and spoken exchanges.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Simultaneous Meeting Interpretation:
• Provide real-time interpretation during meetings and live events.
• Ensure accurate and clear interpretation of spoken language, including technical jargon and industry-specific terminology.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and manage the flow of conversation to ensure smooth and uninterrupted communication.
2. Document Translation:
• Translate a variety of documents, including but not limited to reports, contracts, policies, and official correspondence.
• Ensure translations are accurate, contextually appropriate, and culturally sensitive.
• Review and proofread translated materials to ensure high-quality and error-free content.
• Adapt the tone and style of the translation to match the original document.
3. Language Support:
• Assist with ad-hoc language-related queries from team members.
