IT Engineer (Cyber Security)

1. Security Planning and Implementation:
o Develop, implement, and update cybersecurity policies and procedures.
o Implement security measures to safeguard networks, systems, and sensitive data.
2. Risk Assessment:
o Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats.
o Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and address identified risks.
3. Incident Response:
o Develop and implement incident response plans to address and mitigate security incidents.
o Participate in investigations of security breaches and provide post-incident analysis.
4. Security Awareness Training:
o Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness training for employees.
5. Security Audits and Compliance:
o Support regular security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
o Collaborate with internal and external auditors to address security findings.
6. Vulnerability Management:
o Implement and manage vulnerability assessment programs.
o Coordinate the timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
7. Security Architecture:
o Design and implement secure network architectures and configurations.
o Stay updated on emerging threats and adjust security measures accordingly.
8. Security Tools and Technologies:
o Evaluate, select, and implement security tools and technologies.
o Monitor the effectiveness of security solutions and make recommendations for improvements.
9. Collaboration with IT Teams:
o Integrate security measures into system development and maintenance.
o Provide guidance on secure coding practices.
10. Continuous Monitoring:
o Establish and maintain continuous monitoring systems for network and system activities.
o Analyze logs and alerts to identify and respond to security incidents.
11. Research and Innovation:
o Update and research latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
o Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance cybersecurity defenses.
