Roles & Responsibilities
Organize activities and networking events to foster a strong community among learners.
Community Building:
Academic and Career Counseling:
Provide personalized support and advice to help learners achieve their academic and career goals.
Mentorship and Guidance:
Act as a mentor and guide for learners throughout their academic journey.
Provide personal, vocational, and other non-academic counseling as appropriate.
Assess learners' interests, aptitudes, and abilities to assist in academic and career planning.
Facilitate engagement and collaboration among learners to enhance their overall experience.
Referral and Resource Management:
Customer Service and Support:
Refer learners to appropriate university offices or external resources for specialized support when needed.
Onboarding and Transition Management:
Ensure timely and accurate responses to inquiries, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Address queries related to facilities, services, registration, and information about upGrad’s programs.
Serve as a resource for faculty and staff, interpreting academic rules and regulations.
Administrative Duties:
Handle transitions from the Academic Counseling Team, providing continuity of support.
Manage the onboarding process for new learners, ensuring a smooth transition into their academic journey.
Perform additional related duties as required to support the overall success of learners and the organization.

2-3 years of experience in academic counseling, event planning, student services, or educational administration.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
, with a customer-oriented
approach.
Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm for planning and managing events, fostering community engagement.
Ability to build rapport and establish trust
with learners, faculty, and staff.
Knowledge of academic advising principles, career development theories, and counseling techniques.
Experience in personal and vocational counseling.
Proactive problem-solving skills
and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
Experience in organizing events, workshops, or activities
is desirable.
Familiarity with educational technologies and online learning platforms
is a plus.
