Coherent Vietnam is planning significant investments in the southern province of Dong Nai. We aim to develop high-tech projects in advanced optics and semiconductor (SiC) manufacturing. This initiative, located in Nhon Trach 1 Industrial Park, involves an investment capital of hundreds of millions of U.S. dollars and is set to begin operations by the end of 2024.
The Director of Operations is responsible for
managing, creating, and executing the Company's global manufacturing operations, including engineering activities. This role encompasses day-to-day production management to ensure the highest on-time delivery and the lowest cost basis, while reducing quality costs through qualified processes. The Director is also responsible for maintaining a trained workforce, supporting new process and product development, and ensuring an environmentally and occupationally safe environment that complies with all federal, local, and international regulations. Long-term responsibilities include facility planning, capital equipment forecasting, technology improvements, raw material and workforce planning, exploring offshore manufacturing options, and aligning global production assets with marketing and business development plans to position the company as a top supplier at designated manufacturing sites.
