Job Responsibilities
• Liaise with regional and global internal customers, and facilitate cross-functional team collaboration
• Evaluate quotations from vendors, give cost-feature trade-off directions and determine tooling optimization
• Manage model makers on-site to develop engineering prototypes
• Propose mechanical design solutions
• Evaluate engineering pilot samples and provide modification directions
• Ensure production output aligning with committed target in technical perspective
• Evaluate the development plan, oversee and manage the development against the quality, cost & schedule baselines
• Evaluate product development schedule
• Oversee and lead on-site the team and their development activities
• On-site review on production line setup for inland or overseas manufacturing vendors
