JOB DESCRIPTION
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES
This position will be responsible for implementing various projects within the TRAFFIC Vietnam Office. The role requires a dynamic individual capable of working on multiple projects that contribute to TRAFFIC's mission of ensuring that the wildlife trade is not a threat to the conservation of nature. This position will work closely with project partners, including government, CSO, and private sector counterparts, and coordinate with the Program Officer and other team members at TRAFFIC Vietnam & TRAFFIC Global Offices to ensure effective project implementation.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
• Implement assigned projects effectively, including activity delivery, data collection and analysis, and impact assessment.
• Assist in developing project methodologies and work plans, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Support the maintenance of relationships with relevant project stakeholders, including local government, private sector, and civil society representatives.
• Monitor project budgets and timelines, flagging any potential issues to the Program Officer.
• Prepare regular project reports, including quarterly, bi-annual, and annual technical reports.
• Contribute to the development of training materials, communication products, and other project-related documents.
• Assist in organising and participating in project events, including meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
• Conduct field work as required, including market surveys, behaviour change assessments, and other research activities.
• Support the Program Officer in project approval procedures and other administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with TRAFFIC's policies and donor requirements throughout all project activities.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and support multiple projects as needed.
• Undertake other tasks assigned by the Senior Program Manager and Office Director.
