Quality Assurance Auditor, Raw Materials

This role typically reports to the Manager of QA, Raw Material who is based in Hong Kong and is open to working with our suppliers in and around the region of Ho Chi Minh City
. He/she should be open to working on-site, remotely & willing to travel.
Mills Quality Audit (MQA) Program support
• Oversee the Mill Evaluation Audit program conduct by 3rd Party for their specific region
• Pre-approval of Audit Report and CAP
• Follow up CAP and improvement program to drive for continuous improvement with the mills together
• Maintain an MQA summary in the region, highlight top and bottom performers.
Bulk production control
• Due diligent check for fabric aesthetic “Handfeel” (bulk against an approved standard) onsite with the factory QA team.
• Review the “development to bulk” and “bulk to bulk” traceability
• Check and review the inline/ endline fabric control process
• Support testing laboratory accreditation program for fabric mill and keep track of the status.
Bulk Fabric Failure control
• Accountable to investigate any bulk fabric failures and work with the mills to implement the CAPA to avoid further failures and monitor the CAPA status.
• Conduct correlation exercises between Mill and Garment vendors for shrinkage and fabric flaws to ensure alignment on quality standards.
Garment Vendor Incoming Quality Control (IQC)
• Review and map the fabric inspection process, conduct inspection in the garment factories when necessary.
• Train and implement the fabric inspection procedure in garment factories.
• Support testing laboratory accreditation program for garment vendors and keep track of the status.
