* PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
Spartronics Viet Nam is seeking a Quality Engineer for PCBA and Box-build, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of quality control measures and procedures to ensure the reliability and performance of our electronic components and assemblies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes and products. Additionally, you will be responsible for mentoring and coaching junior quality engineers to support their professional growth and development.
* PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow up the daily production process and represent customers to ensure product quality
- Monitor and analyze First Pass Yield (FPY), trends, top defects, pareto daily to take timely actions
- Release Process Instruction (PI)/ Visual Aids
- Monitor Process Indicators cases
- Perform Material Review Board (MRB) on sustained/ mass production products
- Perform New Product Introduction (NPI) and create to submit First Article Inspection (FAI)
- Perform Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process while received feedback from customers
- Monitor and control activities might include in-process / final inspections/ customer feedback
- Use systems to record product history, track and collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective action as well as correct due date
- Review risk/ impact assessment to define the disposition of process non-conformance to control
- Responsible for investigating and releasing 8D reports for customer feedback and internal issues
- Handle Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Process Control Plan (PCP), Certificate of Compliance (CoC), Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA)
- Follow customer acceptance, field failure, Defects Per Million (DPM) to have improvement solution
- Assure quality of process, maintain process conformance, and assure actual practices and process requirements are aligned
- Support and focus corrective action efforts and utilizing the SPC data, control chart and corrective action tracking package and create and implement any meetings, procedures, or team-building concepts as necessary as part of the corrective/preventative effort
- Work with internal audit and external audit teams such as customers, ISO organizations, NADCAP, etc
- Lead program of continuous improvement, lean 6 sigma, DMAIC, etc
- Build, maintain and improve the documentation system of the quality department
- Working closely with customers, driving quality meetings with foreign customers, directly receiving complaints, expansion requests, periodic quality reports and quality improvement suggestions to customers
- Responsible for the main training for the team on the standards of quality and workmanship
