EBSCO Information Services Field Sales Group is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager for a Vietnam territory. The outside sales position includes selling to all markets: Academic, Medical, Public and Private Libraries.
The Regional Sales Manager's general responsibility is to solicit prospective customers and present EBSCO Information Services resources to libraries for all markets in the territory.
Primary Responsibilities
* Work in conjunction with the Director of Sales and Business Development Manager to achieve sales goals.
* Provide balanced sales coverage of accounts in your territory.
* Achieve an established new sales quota each fiscal year for EBSCO Information Services products.
* Prepared for Travel up to 50% of the working time. Including attendance at conferences and sales meetings as deemed necessary by Sales Management.
* Qualify customers needs, have quotes and pricing prepared, and coordinate with the Business Development Manager to set up trials when appropriate.
* Develop sales strategies and a territory plan to help you achieve overall sales of EBSCO Information Services products.
* Achieve an expert level of knowledge of EBSCO Information Services products and competition.
* Average a minimum of 40 face-to-face visits per month with prospects and/or customers.
* Provide input from the market for product development and marketing purposes.
* Schedule a home office day each Friday to maintain administrative tasks.
