Senior Data Engineer

AS A SENIOR DATA ENGINEER, YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
• Proficiency in SQL: Advanced knowledge of SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server), with experience in complex queries and reporting.
• Experience with Large Datasets: Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets and optimize them for reporting.
• Data Modeling Expertise: Strong understanding of relational database design, normalization, and schema creation.
• Performance Optimization: Hands-on experience with query tuning, indexing, partitioning, and caching techniques.
• ETL Knowledge: Experience building ETL processes to support data ingestion and transformation.
• Build and optimize data models to improve data retrieval time and efficiency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and ensure the reliability of data flows.
• Implement data governance and security measures to safeguard sensitive information.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the data engineering processes.
