Senior Die and Mold Design Engineer

Overview
● Receive work-related requests from the design group leader
● Implement work related to stamping die design, checking fixtures, welding fixtures
Functional Job
● Receive information about Die/mold project, evaluate feasibility and prepare FCR, DFM report
● Estimate price and budget for developing assigned stamping die/mold project
● Analyze die/mold process, evaluate CAE simulation, design 2D, 3D, BOM
● Participate in discussing and agreeing on technical issues with customers and related departments
● Propose design improvement options after testing and when encountering problems during tools use
Human Development
● Training and sharing professional knowledge to develop the team
Financial Management
Financial Management
● Participate in appraisal and evaluation of mold manufacturing costs
System Management
● Build and manage standards and techniques of molds and fixtures
Other
● Report work progress to direct manager.
● Consult technical issues with relevant departments.
● Learn and observe to make improvements for the department and the company
