A Senior Garment Fitting Technician typically possesses a combination of education, experience, and skills specific to garment construction and fitting.
Responsibilities
1. Fit Sessions:
Conducting fit sessions with models or clients to assess the fit of garments and make necessary adjustments.
2. Alterations:
Making precise alterations to the pattern to achieve the desired fit and garment appearance.
3. Quality Control:
Ensuring that finished garments meet the required standards of fit, comfort, and style.
4. Collaboration:
Working closely with designers, pattern makers, and production teams to achieve the best fit for garments.
5. Documentation:
Keeping detailed records of fitting adjustments and alterations for future reference.
