Mô tả công việc
• Welcome guests entering the hostel with a warm and friendly attitude, determine the nature and purpose of their visit, and direct or escort them to specific areas within the property;
• Guest check-in and out and general hostel reception duties;
• Providing information about the hostel facilities, local attractions, and activities;
• Assisting guests with inquiries, reservations, and any issues that may arise;
• Promoting the sale of tours, bus services and bike rentals;
• Manage the bookings of all guests for extra services ensuring the guest is at the correct pick up location at the correct time;
• Keeping the reception area and common spaces tidy and welcoming;
• Promoting and organizing hostel events to create a lively atmosphere;
• Serve at bar area during busy times and encourage guests to enjoy themselves;
• Providing baggage storage services for guests checking in and out;
• Ensure security and safety for all guests and staff;
• Balance sales transactions of reception;
• Produce reports from computer;
• Hear and resolve complaints from customers. And report to manager;
• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to cash handling procedures;
• Send information or documents inlcuding emails, messages, special promotions to customers using a computer or phone on the company account;
• Cooperate with maintenance staff to deal with issues within rooms and common areas as they arise;
• Cooperate with the housekeeping team to make sure rooms are ready on time

Yêu cầu kỹ năng
• A high school diploma or equivalent;
• Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, actively look for ways to help people, and adjust actions concerning others' actions;
• Good command in spoken and written English;
• Previous experience in hospitality, ideally in both reception and/or bar roles is highly regarded;
• Strong communication skills with a passion for customer care;
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
• Enthusiastic and outgoing personality, with a genuine interest in meeting new people from diverse backgrounds;
• Flexibility to work late nights, early mornings, weekends as needed
• Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, actively look for ways to help people, and adjust actions concerning others' actions;
• Good command in spoken and written English;
