Sewing Line Team Leader

A Job Description:
1. The Sewing Line Supervisor/Team Leader will oversee the daily operations of the sewing production floor, focusing on meeting production targets, optimizing workflow, and ensuring quality standards. This role requires a hands-on approach, especially in a new factory setting, and the ability to build and train an effective production team.
B Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Coordination: Supervise, coordinate, and plan activities of the machines and operators that are involved in the processing and manufacturing of textile products, with a focus on bags.
- Lead and train sewing operators to meet production targets based on a lot-by-lot (P.O.) output basis.
2. Production Planning:
- Execute the Production, Monitoring, and Control (PMC) operational plan.
- Plan production lines, assign operations, and allocate machines based on Industrial Engineering (IE) standard times and work assignments.
- Follow up on daily production, line output, and Work in Progress (WIP) based on delivery target dates.
- Reduce WIP and address bottlenecks in the sewing line.
3. Problem-Solving:
- Cooperate with the operation team in case of any changes or lack of resources to meet the production Plan and ensure on-time delivery of all orders (PO), lots, and styles.
- Work with the QA team to reach and meet the customer quality targets.
- Resolve work-related issues and recommend measures to enhance productivity.
- Alert for time and quality-related risk – call for an MRB if needed.
4. Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety standards.
- Draft and submit reports as required.
- Keep the Factory 5s regulations
- Adjust machinery and equipment as needed.

- Perform other tasks as assigned by the General Manager or the production manager.
- Follow up and be attentive to all admin and HR-related needs of the production line personnel and communicate them to the HR team.
